"Friendly and flexible host. Kitchen was equipped enough for cooking a real meal. Washing machine. Wifi was good enough for work. Airport transfer smooth both ways. I enjoyed his own tour (he offers several), saw what I ewanted to see. Nice view, for chilling on balcony. Shop with basics and beer a charming 20-minute walk through a local area. Finally, a really cool anti-mosquito kitchen door curtain which closes with magnets! JR a good guy."

"I enjoyed my stay at the Island Home. The property is basic but lovely. It is well connected to the downtown and central market by frequent shuttle buses that go up and down the hill. JR and his family were welcoming and provided me with useful information and tips on how to move around."

"I didn't not like anything just things that you have to get used to like the hyenas howling at night lol. Ps would probably pay to bring some ear plugs on rare occasions."

"The owners, Jhen and JR, were very friendly and helpful; easy to communicate with the owners before you arrive and while you are there; they helped arrange airport transfers and a day trip; there is local transportation that goes from town to the homestay"

"It's quite a long, hot walk from town and there are no shops or restaurants around so you need to carry food to the homestay unless you want to go to town every day; the top floor was HOT; they offer an a/c in one of the rooms but you have to pay extra to use it which isnt stated on Booking.com"
