"Super godt vandland uden alt for mange mennesker og god mad i vandlandet. Fine og rumlige værelser. Maden var god i bar-restauranten. Rigtig godt sted for børn, masser af muligheder, med legeland osv."

Savnede lidt en al carte restaurant. Det var der nemlig for år tilbage.

"Just generally one of those special places that will stick in my memory forever. A collection of pretty little cabins by the beach surrounded by palm trees with hammocks slung between them for whiling away the days. With only the sounds of birds and waves. Where everyone just hangs out and chats, the staff, the other guests, the extremely interesting and gregarious owner Gregory (no pun intended). I could spend a week here just forgetting about the outside world. The various arrangements (airport transfer, transfer back to town, activities) all went smoothly as well. Which is my no means guaranteed in this part of the world."

Not much but if I went again I'd maybe pay a little more for the room with ensuite shower rather than sharing a communal shower with non locking door. Obviously this is budget accommodation in West Africa so it's of the rustic eco lodge variety rather than the western style hotel room variety in case anyone is expecting that.

Rooms a bit small, 2 small elevators for all the people take some time. There is an huge amount of food but i for exampme dont eat meat, there is 10 diferent meat plates and only 1 fish option.

The hotel can definitely do with some upgrades.

Only couple of persons spoke english. Several restaurants in hotel, but you could only book online with one. When you come to hotel everything is in spanish, luckily I had colleague who could speak spanish so he was able to translate how to book breakfast, lunches and dinners etc.

"Our suite came with a hot tub on the balcony. It was beautiful view and the rooms were super comfortable. The suite also came with a glass of wine and complimentary breakfast buffet the next day. It was very pleasant and nice. We enjoyed our stay."

A little tired in places - could do with a bit of a spruce up such as a lick of paint on all the walls, new carpets in the common areas (stairs) etc. Seemed to be a lot of staff but not a lot of guests (although the staff were lovely).

"I have never been to a Taj before, so I have nothing to compare it to. The lobby is impressive and the location with direct access to the beach is great. The staff is lovely and the housekeeping do so much for you, Saudtha I believe, checked on us regularly and brought us more water or towels."

When a twin is converted into a double room, one of the guests end up without space to put their things and the light switches are at the wrong place.

"Personalet var meget hjælpsomme og imødekommende, deres a la carte menu i restauranten var rigtig god, fin morgenmad, udsigten er enestående, og man kommer ikke tættere på Kruger uden at bo inde i selve Kruger. Man kan let booke transfer, safariture og andre udflugter direkte på hotellet."

Buffeten var ikke så spændende, men den var okay. Og så var vi ikke fan af den høje musik, som de havde arrangeret den lørdag, vi ankom. Men det var heldigvis kun den ene aften ud af de 8, vi havde på stedet.

"Der var rent og pænt samt virkelig flot renoveret. Hyggelig restaurant med fine faciliteter og lækre møbler. Personalet var og er i den grad utrolig serviceminded og høflige. Det eneste minus der var, var at det meste sf personalet ikke kunne tale engelsk, men det fandt vi ud af med Google translate."

Synd at der ikke var flere gæster, der oplevede denne perle.

"Vi ankom lidt tidligt, og kunne ikke komme ind på værelset, men fik udleveret armbånd til poolområdet og store håndklæder. Stela er tydeligt den lokale (gode) øl, og der var rig mulighed for at prøve dette. Børnene kunne købe is, og både poolbar og resturanten er glimrende til meget rimelige priser. Hotellet arrangerede morgenmaden to-go da vi skulle afsted midt om natten"

Udvalget af vin er dog ikke godt. “Ricky”, den unge mand ved poolen, var ualmindelig høflig og servicemindet. Pas godt på ham😃 Men som sagt gjorde personalet alt for at være imødekommende. Det gør bare enhver ferie bedre, så tak for det!!!😃"

Det var koldt i vejret og huse og omgivelser er ikke så velegnede til det.

"Das Zimmer war überraschend groß und modern eingerichtet – man merkt sofort, dass alles neu ist. Besonders schön: die tolle Ausstattung mit Espresso-Maschine und kostenlosem Kaffee. Auch das Bad war sehr geräumig und hochwertig gestaltet. Über die Terrasse mit eigenem Strandkorb hatte man einen wunderbaren Blick Richtung Bodden – perfekt, um abends den Tag ausklingen zu lassen"

Das Zimmer ließ sich trotz der Verdunkelungsmöglichkeiten nur bedingt abdunkeln, da durch die Milchglastür früh Tageslicht hereinkam. Bei der Ankunft war es zudem recht staubig, was etwas den ersten Eindruck trübte. Außerdem war der Kaffeeweißer aufgrund der hohen Luftfeuchtigkeit auf der Insel hart geworden.

Internettet er FORFÆRDELIGT. Vi boede både i den almindelig afdeling, og senere i Premium, ingen af stederne var WIFI godt :(

"Liostasi has absolutely made our honeymoon the most magical and comfortable experience. The rooms, the pool, the bar, the view, the spa, the food- all of it is fantastisc. The breakfast is one of the very best I have seen at a hotel. The restaurant is also one of the best/fanciest on Ios. The hotel is close to the port and the other restaurants and bars in Chora. They can also help with car rental so you can explore the island. But the real secret to Liostasi's success is the staff. The staff is wonderfully kind and caring, and willing to help with everything. The staff is the real gem of Liostasi if you ask me. So, if you have the opportunity to travel to Ios and stay at this hotel, do it!!!!!! You will not be disappointed!! Absolute must visit destination and hotel!"

Der var for lidt lys i haven ved spa-badet, man kunne ikke se ret meget, samt at der lod til at være nogle firben som havde deres hjem i haven. Dyrelivet var dog en bagatel.
