"Big clean pool, good breakfast and amazing rates !!"

All is a bit old but did not bother me !

"Jeg blev mødt af den mest behagelige receptionist, da jeg ankom om morgenen. Khaled Jouini. Han har hjælpsom og oplysende, en god start på mit ophold. Dejlige værelser med skøn udsigt til poolen, gode senge og lækker mad."

Personalet taler ikke så godt engelsk.

The water in the swimming pools/water slides was a little bit too cold

The buffet restaurant for an evening meal was not open so there were limited options on site

"The location is right in the heart of Georgetown, within walking distance of all the major tourist attractions. The accommodation is beautifully designed,easily the best I’ve seen in Penang. The staff were incredibly friendly and always made sure we were well taken care of."

If I were to nitpick, the dinner menu could be a bit more interesting. Other than that, everything was great.

The shower I used was really small.

"I have never been to a Taj before, so I have nothing to compare it to. The lobby is impressive and the location with direct access to the beach is great. The staff is lovely and the housekeeping do so much for you, Saudtha I believe, checked on us regularly and brought us more water or towels."

When a twin is converted into a double room, one of the guests end up without space to put their things and the light switches are at the wrong place.

"Nice and modern hotel in country club style. Very professional and helpful staff. The room was clean and comfortable. Great option when travelling with car - plenty of parking space."

Breakfast selection was mediocre. Some small spa or sauna area would create extra value.

"Great pools, no rush to grab a lounger in the morning, comfy bed, good shower, excellent location right in the middle of The Gap. The crazy golf course was superb! Gardens were large and well kept."

Bar was expensive so no-one really used it. Pure Ocean restaurant was just ok. Apartment was a bit tired in places. Felt it was expensive for what it was but worth paying the extra for pool/garden view.

"Store værelser med meget højt til loftet, god aircondition og stor altan. Dejligt med transport rundt på hotellet med golfbiler. Dejligt, stort og afvekslende poolområde. Morgenmaden var med i vores værelsespris og den var virkelig lækker."

Det er svært at finde, men trapperne i værelsesbygningerne trænger til hyppigere rengøring. Herudover er restauranterne pænt dyre!

La cama se movía se movía mucho y se corría del lugar muy incómodo de verdad El tv nunca funcionó Llamamos a recepción y nunca contestaron Mucha gente en recepción ala hora de la entrada

"Just generally one of those special places that will stick in my memory forever. A collection of pretty little cabins by the beach surrounded by palm trees with hammocks slung between them for whiling away the days. With only the sounds of birds and waves. Where everyone just hangs out and chats, the staff, the other guests, the extremely interesting and gregarious owner Gregory (no pun intended). I could spend a week here just forgetting about the outside world. The various arrangements (airport transfer, transfer back to town, activities) all went smoothly as well. Which is my no means guaranteed in this part of the world."

Not much but if I went again I'd maybe pay a little more for the room with ensuite shower rather than sharing a communal shower with non locking door. Obviously this is budget accommodation in West Africa so it's of the rustic eco lodge variety rather than the western style hotel room variety in case anyone is expecting that.

"Det private spa-bad i haven var glimrende. Dertil var den private have også glimrende, samt at man kunne gå direkte fra værelset ud i fællesområdet ved poolen og baren."

Der var for lidt lys i haven ved spa-badet, man kunne ikke se ret meget, samt at der lod til at være nogle firben som havde deres hjem i haven. Dyrelivet var dog en bagatel.

"Personalet var fantastisk. Morgenmaden var supergod. De øvrige måltider var også rigtig gode. Udvalget af vin er dog ikke godt. “Ricky”, den unge mand ved poolen, var ualmindelig høflig og servicemindet. Pas godt på ham😃 Men som sagt gjorde personalet alt for at være imødekommende. Det gør bare enhver ferie bedre, så tak for det!!!😃"

"Nice and spaceous property just a 5-10 min drive from Tahko Ski Resort. 3 of the rooms out of 4 had private bathrooms, which was very convinient. Also the sauna was very specious. Would come back again!"

"This apartment is well kept, very clean, comfortable, with all facilities at high level and abundancy. Interior very nice and cozy. SPECTACULAR views from the terrace, definitely that makes this apartment special. The hosts very nice people, very attentive and helpful. Even helped me to take off flat tire and fix it the nearest garage. Communication excellent. If you are in Morgan's Bay, this is would an excellent choice."

Property is managed so well that there is nothing to say negative.

Hotellet arrangerede morgenmaden to-go da vi skulle afsted midt om natten"

"We had a wonderful stay in this beautiful place. the rooms were awesome and the staff, including the fast responding and very knowledgeable Dana, were all great! also the breakfast was very nice and tasty, typical israeli kind..."

"Every room has a view over the lake. It's worth it just for that. Filtered water available for free in the hallway."

Restaurant prices are too high.

"The villa had great privacy, beautiful landscaping, a good layout for our group. It was well-equipped with essentials for cooking/serving. The salt pool was perfect for cooling off after a hike. It was just big enough and always seemed to be at the right temperature. We were delighted by fireflies, tree frogs, bats, local birds, and even a shy ginger cat that wandered past once or twice."

THE ROAD- while we expected a rough access road from reading previous reviews, the construction during our stay detoured us through the banana plantation over an intolerably (for anyone with neck/back problems) rough track that was 4x longer. While the ocean (not a swimming beach) is close enough to hear, there is not much view. It is a peek from one corner of the pool deck, and the upper bedroom. But again, wonderful privacy. Also of note- there are no bug screens on the windows. It was perhaps an assumption on our part with the newer construction, but the mosquitoes did cause some distress, especially for one member of our group. Bring bug spray, After-Bite (anti-itch), and Benadryl if you are prone to reactions.

At that price I expected a ceiling fan ,especially with the high humidity, and a hot shower , even under a black solar bag . And a linen change should have happened, after a few hot and humid nights , the sheets become greasy and unpleasant to sleep on .

Couldn’t find any ramp which could be wheel chair friendly. A ramp could be introduced for ease of moving luggage’s and for elderly people.
