"Accommodation with a beautiful view of the mountains. This place is a with very good standard. The owner is very friendly and helpful. There is also a charming dog in the house. The wonderful scent from the garden definitely sets this place apart. The kitchen is small, but sufficient for two people."

"Alexandra is the best host. We needed another blanket and another coffee capsule and she bring it to us inmidiately. She put in our room fruit and a bolo do mel for free. It was amazing."

"Comfy room with kitchen annex, nice comfy bed. The rooms looks a bit like in a hotel (which is a plus). Great view from the balcony - birds will wake you up. Very nice hosts. There were radiators, so we didn't get cold luckily, even though the weather wasn't great. Nice shared living rooms with large armchairs - and the view!"

"Even though the room is renovated, you can still smell the moisture (which is pretty common in Madeira, especially in the north, but still - it is something that makes the stay less comfortable). Kitchen annex very small - difficult to cook a dinner. The parking is pretty small and if there are more guests in the house, it gets difficult to park (and the road is steep so no other options)."

"The room is clean and friendly, the kitchenette has everything you need. The best part is definitely the balcony with its amazing view!! The owners are extremely nice and welcoming."

"Spent an enjoyable Christmas time here. Owner is very nice and was even willing to support me with logistics as I didn't come by car. That had great value in this rocky island where you can't just "go shopping" without losing pound of your weight 😂 Pico Ruivo reachable walking for serious hikers (12km far, 1500m climb), I prefered to take 5km of the hike on quite nice tarmac road as the island nature may be tricky..."

"Not sure WiFi was available for guests, used my data plan instead. 4g signal was good enough to watch IPTV. Pico Areeiro - Pico Ruivo trail closed at time of my stay 😢 Less touristy places are a bit of a jungle and a lot of tourist paths in map just don't exist or are hidden below always growing vegetation 😁"

"We loved the quiet and tranquility and Jeff and Alex made us feel very welcome. So lovely of them to offer us wine and avocados on the house and lots of recommendations of where to go, restaurants etc. Made it bit more special. We really hope their business goes really well. "booking.com have said it's 975ft from bar, restaurant and supermarket but it isn't, just so others know when booking. certainly didn't spoil our stay at all :)"
