"Everything. Francisco and his wife are amazing. Unfortunately we only had 1 night there. Francisco met us, showed us around and had a very nice conversation with him. The space was super comfortable and one of the best beds ever in an accomodation. We had an early breakfast and found everything ready for us :)"

"Lovely individual boutique hotel in superb rural location despite being five minutes from Horta's tiny airport. The hotel gardens were superb and there are lovely views across fields of cows and the ocean beyond. Breakfast was very good with a selection of cheeses, meats and eggs. The host Francisco was very friendly and gave us an individual tour on arrival and was always available to help. He very kindly gave us a lift to the airport to collect our rental car. Highly recommended."

"Francesco and Susana were amazing hosts and really made us feel welcomed and went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable and had access to everything. They even called us and came to pick us up at the airport when we were late because we couldn’t find a taxi! The rooms at the quinta are spacious and clean. The breakfast is nice and varied. The garden and the grounds of the property are beautiful."

"The host is really friendly and he does everything to make you feel at home. The rooms are clean and comfortable. The garden and the views from the garden are amazing. Breakfast is suburb, the azores cheese in the morning was incredible tasteful."

"Absolutely fantastic from start to finish. Very nice property with amazing and enormous gardens and fields. Beautifully decorated rooms and multiple common areas. Delicious breakfast with fresh fruits from the garden. Very friendly and attentive owner and staff. The owner, Francisco, was very very kind and took us for a tour on his property, taking time to explain all the plants and share stories. Last but not least, the friendly dog accompanied on the beautiful walk that starts from the property and took very good care of us 😊"

"Very nice place. Very quiet, in the middle of horses. It was so nice to sit on the veranda and soak in the atmosphere. The veranda is also very nicely sheltered from the wind."

"Cosy room.in a traditional old farm building. The table by the swimming pool had a fabulous vista down the valley to Vizela and beyond; perfect for watching the sunset directly ahead whilst bats fly around and sipping the delicious wine made by the family. We regret not bringing some home! The owner went the extra mile for us, for example taking our laundry and ironing even in the middle of a heatwave"

The rooms are just OK—clean and comfortable but little charm. Would definitely stay here again. Happily accomodated our bicycles in a secure room. Overall—super, just super!"
