"Super beliggenhed, så pænt og rent og på ingen måder slidt. Ligger super duper i Alfama kvarteret og tæt til det meste. Store og rummelige værelser med meget fin rengøring. Meget venligt og hjælpsomt personale. Vil absolut anbefale. Eneste lille minus er, at morgenmaden er stort set den helt samme hverdag men ellers rigtig fint"

"Herlig udsigt over byen fra vinduet. Direkte adgang ind i det yderst levende Alfama - kort vej til diverse Fado-restauranter. Fint gammelt hotel - lidt slidt, men helt OK. Kæmpestore værelser og stort badeværelse med badekar. Betjeningen høflig og venlig - helt tilfredsstillende til prisen"

"Morgenmaden var OK, men heller ikke mere. Tydeligvis pladsproblemer, så udvalget ikke var fyrsteligt - men dækkende de nødvendigste behov. En irriterende, larmende og langsom kaffeautomat, der leverede halvkold kaffe og ikke mindst halvkoldt tevand. Yoghurten var i bægre - smagløs og kedelig. Ostene var også kedelige. Der manglede det portugisiske islæt med oliven og sardiner. Brødet var til gengæld rigtig godt. Der var et plastiklagen (tissestykke) under lagenet i sengene - det var ubehageligt at ligge på - så man blev svedig. Det hører sig til på et hospital - ikke på et ordentligt hotel!"

"Lovely location, great bed, great breakfast. Helpful staff and nice places to eat nearby. A good location to explore from. We had only booked a standard room but it was huge with a balcony. The bed was super comfortable and the "American breakfast" option in our room the first day was 3 trays of great food including bacon and egg. Would stay herr again"

"We had requested a queen room and they not only met that, they upgraded us to a room with a balcony. The view was great, we watched everyone gather to watch the sunset. Sitting on the balcony and enjoying the view was a nice beginning or end of the day! The breakfast was nice but the location was GREAT! We were at the top of Lisbon and within walking distance to everything! The secret elevators sure did help :)"

"Just something to note, you cannot get an Uber or Bolt to take you right to the hotel. So when you have luggage its a little bit of an uphill battle to get there. However, you can take a taxi right to the hotel entry."

"The location in old Lisbon was exceptional. We had a suite so the room was comfortable, breakfast was great. The hotel alsooffered a reasonable room service menu and the bar was open for lengthy hours. The housekeeping staff were really helpful,going out of their way to provide us with simple requested ( kettle for room, bottle opener etc)"

"There was no option for making tea in the room.The coffee making facility was good but not restocked until sometime late afternoon, rather than when the room was cleaned.When we checked in,after a long rain trip…there was no coffee in the room and we simply had to wait. The property is at the top of the hill, this could be difficult for people with mobility issues."

"The location and experience was unusual for what I would be familar with, the lifts were some different. The place was clean and the staff very nice. The food was very nice."

"If you come late from downtown you have to climb lots of stairs, otherwise there’s a lift to get there which works until 9pm"

"There is very limited parking at the hotel, so if it's important for you to have local parking, then you must book in advance. There is a public car park nearby, but you need to be fit and able to park there and walk to the hotel. The hotel and surrounding streets all have very uneven surfaces, built on hills. Again, if you stay here, you need to be able to take on the challenge!"
