"Meget hyggeligt og lille sted i landlige omgivelser. Der er en dejlig fred og ro. Simpel men dejlig morgenmad, og æg tilberedes efter ønske. Dejlig pool med fin udsigt. Der er parkering på ejendommen, og 2 pladser er under tag."

"Paula laver den lækreste morgenmad og alt frisk hverdag. Ligger på toppen af en bakke med ro og skøn natur. Virkelig et lækkert ferie sted, hvis man er til det lokale."

"We liked everything about this beautiful Finca. We enjoyed our wonderful breakfast on the terrace, the pool area was lovely, the rooms were spacious and very clean. Walkable to Guia for restaurants and cafe. Central to explore many places and beaches. We cannot fault the friendly service by Paula. Thank you"

"Amazing place, so nice and so much details. It looked amazing! Also the breakfast was really nice. Really liked the place. There are only a few rooms and everything is done with so much details, really impressive!"

"Monte das Cortelhas is a delightful rustic authentic Portuguese B&B. It is quite small and set on a hill and dates from 1840. It has great views and is in a very tranquil spot. The host is lovely and very hospitable, and there are a couple of dogs wandering about. The continental breakfast was excellent and we sat outside underneath a huge fir tree. There is a small pool which was lovely to return too and have a cooling dip. The room 'azul' was air conditioned with a small terrace. Guia is easily walkable too in about 15 minutes."

"What a gem. The authentic nature of Monte das Cortelhas is what makes it so special. It's not super fancy or all singing and dancing, it's just comfortable in it's own skin offering what it has in its best possible way. Genuinely loved being there in the surroundings that were just at peace with itself. Cazu the beagle and Paola the host were wonderful. Can't wait to go back. Just fabulous 🤩"

"We were warmly welcomed by the host with all the necessary information. The location of the Hotel is wonderful : very nice view, in the middle of the countryside and not too far from the main points of interest. The nice swimming pool gives a fresh shelter during the hot summer days. Fresh breakfast made each day can be eaten outside : delicious (especially the homemade pastries). The room was spacious with a big private terrasse. Bonus point for the 2 friendly and adorable little dogs who roam around."

"On some days there was no cold water in the room : only boiling water would come out of the shower and taps. As this was due to the water company shutting dow the supply, the host could not do a lot about it and we had to wait. Still not very pleasant."
