"Morgenmaden var helt fantastisk. Stor udvalg og masse af lækre ting! Mel lavede æg efter vores ønsker. Beliggenheden var rigtig fin for Sao Vicente. Enorm flot udsigt over bjerge og havet. Mel som arbejdede på stedet var helt fantastisk og svarede på alle vores spørgsmål og kom med gode råd."

"Værelset blev ret varmt og der var ringe mulighed for udluftning. Skrev to måneder før booking om mulighed for twinbeds og igen to dage før og dagen inden og fik aldrig et svar, eller twinbeds. Spurgte også om mulighed for at medbringe allerede indkøbt kul til grill, heller intet svar (via booking og WhatsApp)"

"The Madeira Surf Lodge is a good Location to stay when visiting Madeira. It is nicely located in Sao Vincente and the whole Madeira Surf Lodge Family will make you stay as good as possible. The area itself is maintained properly and creates a relaxed atmosphere in a really beautiful Garden area. The breakfast is also good!"

"Breakfast was great. Parking very convenient. Bed was comfortable. Spacious bathroom. Felt very secure and safe, balcony and view were nice. Loved the self check-in. Supermarkets and restaurants walkable distance in the area."

"Paid extra for the room with balcony but was shared with the room beside us. This isn’t the end of the world but when paying extra for balcony would have assumed it would be private. No seating on balcony too. The main house where breakfast was served was down the road from our room and the rooms around the main house looked beautiful. Ours was still nice but would much rather have been down by the main house with the sea views. We probably wouldn’t stay in the area again either just because there wasn’t much going on there or many options for restaurants etc. Area was very quiet which is nice but limited in what options we had for lunch and dinner if we were to stay in the area on the evenings."

"The staff were friendly and attentive, and the location felt truly special, surrounded by lush vegetation, with a spacious garden, outdoor jacuzzi, and hammock. Our suite had its own terrace, perfect for relaxing. Breakfast was enjoyable, though a bit more variety would make it even better."

"Lovely location and a nice clean room. Hot tub and lots of space to hang out in the beautiful garden. I had a great stay and would go back. It was well located for driving to Seixal, Santana and Porto Moniz, as well as some of the walks in the middle of the island"
