"The location is perfect, in the middle of the center and all the things you would like to visit. The people working and volunteering there are really nice. The beds are super comfy, the lower ones have curtains. There are commen areas on each floor, the kitchen is really well equiped for cooking. I really liked the spaces and the overall vibe. Even though it's low season there were still a lot of people and the organised dinner was really good and a nice place to meet other travelers. The breakfast is good as well, especially for a hostel (pancakes, different breads, fruits, yoghurt, oats, normal and oatmilk)."

"The tours they offer are the "regular" free walking tours you find in all cities, the other offered activities are also not organised by the hostel but just the normal tourist stuff. No big issue but just good to know."

"What was very disappointing is even if you pay directly to extend your stay I saw that they are charging the same or more as here on booking.com and when I asked about it I was told oh there is card here to get 10% off but I don’t have the authorisations to change that for you now..you can come back tomorrow I can take it off..I feel that is very disappointing from a customer service point of view😔"

"Amazing staff that is truly passionate about tourism and Portugal. They are really good people. And everything else was perfect- the atmosphere was great, the location couldn't be better, the rooms are huge. One if the best hostels, definitely in the best city"

"Suuuuper soft sheets, and they smelled so good. I slept like a baby. I would have gladly spent another night there. Toilets were always very clean and the staff was so kind :)"

"Clean & spacious room perfect location right in the heart of the city! Smooth check-in & kind staff."

"The room was on the 4th floor (stairs only) and breakfast got crowded and shy people like me could not feel comfortable there."

"Plenty to choose from at breakfast with homemade pancakes every morning, if there is something specific you want you are able to use the kitchen facilities as if it’s your own. Even though it is the quiet season still plenty of people to talk to and a great sense of community."
