Hotel Vitória

"I liked everything. The location is on the edge of the historic centre, so that the sights are very comfortably within walking distance. The hotel itself is on low, flat territory, with the hilly part starting in the next block. The staff were all helpful and friendly. The beds are extremely comfortable, with moderately firm mattresses. Our room (315, I think) had a lovely view onto the adjacent hilly town centre, including the university and churches.The breakfast was plentiful, and delicious (egg, yoghurts, cheeses, meats, bread, cakes, biscuits, fruit, juices, tea and coffee). "A small hotel in a great location. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Our room was good with plenty of space. There are nice eateries close by, all within walking distance."

"Strategic location, comfy mattress & pillows, quiet room. Great hospitality from all staffs and owner, especially Carla and Raquel. Good simple breakfast with fresh fruits mostly from the owner's garden. Free bus to Coimbra B station at the Hotel doorstep."

"The hotel staff were all very helpful. They suggested the best places to visit, provided directions and suggestions for other places to visit. The breakfasts were great. We had a room for 3 people which was very clean and spacious."

"Not really a criticism, but bear in mind that it’s on a busy pedestrian street so noise may be a problem, however when windows are closed it reduces the amount of disturbance."

"The location is very good. The reception staff was extremely nice and helpful. The breakfast was with many options. Although there was some noise from the street, the windows most of it. The room is clean. They have 3 spots by the entrance to allow you you to conveniently unload your suitcases without the stress of parking the car in an unauthorized location. They have an arrangement with a nearby parking lot for around 20 Euros a night."

"The coffee set in the room could be improved as it is very simple. The parking lot is a few minutes walk from the hotel and is not so cheap (as I mentioned, they have an arrangement with the hotel). Price per night is a bit high for what you get."
