"It's very clean, cosy, warm (winter) and peaceful, even though the kitchen is a bit small, it's fully equipped. The dorm room is very spacious and with a bathroom attached."

"Very good place. Located very close to the old town square. The lady at the reception was very kind and helpful. The facilities were basic but clean. Good place to stay for solo travellers."

"The hostel offers good value for money and is a good choice for budget travellers. It's tidy and clean, with an inviting and comfortable lounge area perfect for relaxing. The kitchen is well equipped with a microwave and most of the utensils you might need, and offers free tea and coffee. It was fairly empty during my stay, which created a peaceful and relaxed atmosphere. The location is excellent, very central with supermarkets, cafes, restaurants and major attractions all within walking distance. The staff were friendly and helpful. There is a spacious locker, which is important when travelling alone. Overall, it's a great base for anyone wanting to explore the city affordablely."

"It would be helpful if towels, shampoo and slower gel were provided or available for hire, as they are not currently included. There is free coffee but a simple coffee filter would also be a nice addition. The mattress was quite thin, which was manageable for a short stay, but might not be ideal for longer visits."

"New to Poland .I was here for a temporary residence of 2 weeks.I opted for the dorm . The bed was clean .So was the washroom. The staff were nice and helpful and they knew English which helped a lot . For the money paid it was absolutely worth it .Extra plus is the location which is literally at the heart of old town so it was easy to find places to go to . Based on my stay I would highly recommend this place"

"The hostel has an awesome location. Quite nearby from the city center and also convenient from Torun Miasto railway station. The kitchen was sufficient and useful. The reception and online contacts were quick to respond to any query."

"Being an old house, it doesn't have a lift and if you are carrying a fair amount of luggage it might be difficult to lift and climb all the staircases to either a first floor or even to the second."

"I stayed here for one night in 10-bed room. The deal was super cheap, and less than half people occupied the rooms. The hostel was quite clean, the shower was the only one for our room, but it was always empty and you could lock the door. Advantages: 1) location is perfect. Very central. 2) In the same house there’s the grocery store. 3) In the kitchen all devices are clean, the hostel provides free coffee and tea. 4) The cell for your belongings come for free too, and you don’t have to bring your own key. 5) The check out is at 12am"

"Disadvantages: 1) sockets are not next to each bed, so you can ask for a bed with the sockets. 2) Because the hostel is cheap, people who live here swear a lot, and can just be weird. It’s not very international. If you arrive late, I really recommend you first to come to the hostel and take the key. And then after the reception closes you can use the magnet key to open the door. Otherwise you’ll have to call them somehow. But in general I wouldn’t change the hostel to another one. It was just alright for one night stay."
