"We had a wonderful stay at Maimara Hotel and were truly touched by the kindness of the staff. Everyone was incredibly helpful and warm throughout our visit. They kindly allowed us to store our luggage until very late, which made our travel plans much easier. What impressed us the most was their generosity when our Uber order was canceled because of our luggage. Even though it was raining, the hotel staff went out of their way to personally drive us to the Movil Bus station. This level of care and responsibility is rare and deeply appreciated. I also really loved the fireplace on the first floor. Sitting by the burning fire made me feel so warm and comfortable, especially after a long day. It created such a cozy and welcoming atmosphere."

"I had an amazing experience at Hotel Maimara. The property is absolutely beautiful, with stunning views of the snow-capped mountains right from the rooms and common areas. The hotel is peaceful, impeccably maintained, and truly feels like a little sanctuary in Huaraz. Piero and his parents were incredibly kind, welcoming, and attentive. Their hospitality made my stay feel personal and memorable. The service throughout was excellent. The rooms are spotless, comfortable, and of very high quality, with great heating that keeps you warm during the cold Huaraz nights. One of my favorite spots was the patio with a lovely garden where you can work, relax, or enjoy the sun. The internet connection is fast and reliable, which was perfect for remote work. Overall, it was an exceptional stay. I will definitely return on my next visit to Huaraz."

"The location is a bit far from the city center, for food, booking tours and other errands you need a taxi to get to the city (or 35 min walk) The wifi was not great in the room. You do not get a key to the main gate, so you have to wait for someone to open it (also to exit) each time which is a bit annoying."
