"This was a very nice hostel, very close to Plaza Belén and Plaza de Armas. There were two big supermarkets nearby. The breakfast was very nice and served on the rooftop, which was amazing, with beautiful views of the Cordillera Blanca. There was also a kitchen you could use from after breakfast until the evening, and a very nice common area. It’s the kind of shared space with a kitchen that really helps people connect. You can book tours directly through the hostel and they will pick you up right there. Our room was very nice, the bathroom was clean, and there was plenty of storage."

"Staying at this family-run hostel truly felt like being at home. It boasts a lovely terrace with stunning views of the town and mountains, making it the perfect spot for breakfast. The included breakfast was satisfactory, and the dorm rooms were spacious, offering plenty of room for belongings. While there are a lot of stairs to climb, it provides a nice bit of daily exercise. The hostel has a very chill vibe, and you can easily book various trips through them, though the organization level can vary. A welcome bonus was the hot showers available from time to time."

"Our dorm cleaning wasn't a daily occurrence, and we repeatedly had to ask for toilet paper. Despite this, it's clear the family running the hostel does their utmost to maintain the property, which also features numerous private rooms. The biggest drawback, though, was the dreadfully creaky dorm door. Its noise was a constant disturbance, particularly with guests leaving early for excursions, making it impossible to avoid waking up or being woken by others."
