"Location was excellent folks were super nice. Who were there? Great view. Have breakfast was on the road working but overall would stay there again would like to take them up on the scuba diving opportunities. Didn’t get to do that this time."

"The view from the room directly on the sea and surroundings was exceptional. While I couldn't go scuba diving on this trip, the scuba facilities are very conveniently located with the accommodation. The room itself was rather budget style, though it had everything that is needed and a nice balcony to enjoy the views. The restaurant was also conveniently located below the room and the swimming pool and sea access were nice plusses."

"Communication with limited Spanish was not easy. Also, staff could have been more attentive and at times seemed more occupied with themselves than with customers. Upon arrival, reception was unmanned and unreachable through the phone number on it. A number of staff present, who could not have not noticed that I was looking to check in, made no effort whatsoever to assist or inform, so I had to hang around for over 10 minutes until someone went to find a receptionist. Same situation on departure but as the room was pre-paid, I left the key and left."

"We had an excellent stay at ScubaPortobelo. The staff were the best — friendly and willing to help. The breakfasts and meals were good. It rained a little, but we still enjoyed it. It's ideal for those who enjoy diving. Special thanks to Luzmilla, her sister, and the restaurant manager."

"Great location right by the sea, with direct access to the water, although the seabed is not really suitable for swimming. There is a nice pool. Snorkeling services are available right on site, and they can also take you by boat to the nearby island."
