"This qualifies as a home stay. The owners are really nice and since there are only two extra rooms it is quiet at night. The kitchen and room are clean. It is close to town and to the hiking trails. However, a car would be helpful getting around staying here."

"This was definitely the best accommodation we had during our road trip around Panama. The room was nice and clean (a small minus — it was not clean under the bed), and the bathroom was excellent — actually the best one we had during our whole trip. The kitchen was very clean and regularly maintained, which I really appreciated. I would rate the cleanliness very highly — it was the only place during our trip where I felt completely comfortable using the kitchen and dishes, as everything was spotless. The house itself has a very pleasant atmosphere, and there were also two wonderful dogs that made the place even more charming. One of them, Apollo, once followed us into town — we were really worried when he didn’t come back at night, but the next morning we saw him peacefully sleeping, safe and sound. Overall, it was a very enjoyable stay — for me, it’s a 10 out of 10, and I truly recommend this accommodation. Thank you for a very pleasant stay!"

"The facility served as a perfect outpost for the hikes in the area. It's a no-frills accommodation but had everything we needed. Outdoor sitting area allowed for access to nature/tropical climate in the evening. Personnel was very friendly and helpful."

"It is a really beautiful place with a lot of nature around and two very precious dogs. The family who owns the place lives right next door and is very nice and helpful."

"It's a little bit outside of the town, so everything is not as easily available compared to staying right in town. But it's still only a very short taxi ride (or a 30 minute walk through the beautiful neighborhood) away and the upside is that the entrance to the India Dormida hike is only one minute away."

"Amazing location, right next to the trailhead of the stunning hike I did. Lovely host and I especially loved the two little dogs that were there. To be fair, they might not have actually been the hosts, but they were very friendly. The room was excellent, super comfortable and clean. The added bonus of shampoo AND conditioner was great. Really helpful tips given and a very flexible host, thanks so much."

"Very nice room with a good shower and comfortable bed Lovely location amidst the landscapes of the Valley and close to the India Dormida hike. Coffee with milk in the morning was a really nice touch and you can use the kitchen to prepare your own breakfast (shop very nearby) It's further from the town but an easy walk. I would recommend spending a night here (or in this area) and one in the town. You get the best of both worlds."
