"It’s 1 hour walk far from the town, so you’re kind of trapped in there. A full breakfast is between 10 to 12 USD. When I arrived was a Saturday night and there was a party going on with people that weren’t guests of the place. Music went on until 1am and was so loud that the dorm door was shaking. People were going up and down in front of the door cause the toilet was just beside my room. Not a good first night at all. If you’re in holiday and want to have fun and don’t mind about how expensive could be it’s perfect, if you’re traveling on a budget I would think about"

"Was more than I expected for a hostel room. You have the experience of a hostel with the comfort of a really nice hotel. The food and coffee is delicious, staff are very helpful and lovely. And it’s very clean."

"I really enjoyed my stay! The place looks like a castle. Rooms are spacious and equipped with every traveller's need. There is even a jacuzzi and the view towards Baru volcano is worth the 30 minute walk from town. The bus to all the popular hikes leaves a 15 minute walk from the hostel. Staff was attentive. Lots of opportunities to socialise. I definitely recommend to stay there."
