Receptionen ligger i stueetagen, som sammen er etablissementlets egen vintage Udendørs Poolhouse Bar & Café, som alle gæster kan glæde sig over under hele rejseet. Vandrerhjemmet er en ejendom på R18, som ligger 2 trapper op ad et niveau. Der er adgang til nøglekort døgnet rundt og det nyeste sikkerhedssystem. Vi har en række boligenheder lige fra 6-8 senge sovesale, private ensuites til nybyggede møblerede lejligheder. Samtlige boligenheder har frisk sengelinned, varme, gratis kontinental brunch og ubegrænset højhastigheds-internet. Der er trådløs internetadgang. Komplet med fuldt udstyret køkken og vaskeri, en smuk solterrasse med udsyn over byen, bagageopbevaring og parkeringspladssmuligheder, On Top er et Top Spot! "

"Very well-organised, well-run place with a relaxed vibe that comes from having solid ground rules. Very close to the city centre, but in a quiet street. Everything worked."
"The bunk beds creak when the person above turns over. One of the (electrically-operated) skylights wouldn't open. This would be annoying on a hot night (even by Dunedin standards)."

"The location could not have been more central - a few minutes walk to the Octagon. We had one of the few double rooms with private bathroom at the back of the building. The room had a pleasant outlook & was surprisingly quiet. Free parking in the carpark next door was a bonus."
"The common lounge/dining/kitchen area was comfortable but inadequate for the number of people wanting to use it. We had food to cook but the queue was so long for the stoves we gave up & went to a restaurant."
