Azur Lodge offers private villas in a secluded part of Sunshine Bay. It features panoramic views of Lake Wakatipu, free Wi-Fi and a private shuttle service. It is a 5-minute drive to central Queenstown. Each villa contains a king bed, which is well-positioned to enjoy the views. There is a minibar and a spacious living area with a fireplace and LCD TV. The luxury bathrooms feature a free-standing, wellnesscenter bath. Breakfast is included and served in your room, or the main lodge. Azur’s main lodge houses a reception desk and lounge. Pre-dinner drinks and canapés are served every evening. Room service is also available. Azur Luxury Lodge provides free transfers to the town centre and local restaurants.

"The process for ordering dinner wasn’t very clear - we couldn’t tell if we were supposed to order UberEats directly from the iPad or if we were supposed to call reception. In the end we decided to head out for dinner each night so it wasn’t a big deal but it should be made a bit clearer."

"After a busy day of driving from Hokitika, we decided to split our drive to Kaikoura by staying at this hotel for one evening. Upon check-in the young woman clearly explained the restaurant hours, breakfast plan and how to use the outdoor jacuzzi which we definitely utilized for star-gazing later that evening. Since the hotel is literally in the middle of mountains and valleys and rivers, the views from the hotel/restaurant/villa were fantastic. We spent a few hours star-gazing the Milky Way which is our passion and one of the objectives for staying here for the evening. Given the hotel's location, the restaurant menu was quite limited which is a shame but understood given its remoteness. Lovely stay and would definitely recommend this hotel for those considering....."
