"The room was spacious and surprisingly quiet. It was perfect for our stay although we didn’t get time to use the pool. Check I. Was easy and couldn’t have been more helpful."

"Very helpful and pleasant host. I messed up my dates and she was able to accommodate me. Room was clean and comfortable. Nice outdoor area with a swimming pool. Traffic was a bit noisy in the early evening but settled down and did not bother me overnight."

"The accomodation was in a close location to everything, however it's on the main road and we went during the busy period so the traffic was heavy and noisy at times. The beds were comfortable and kitchen utensils and facilities were good."

"I loved the fact the cat came to say hello! Was so thankful to have somewhere to stay as I was away for brass band last minute the exit was scary as I’m still learning my car but staff were super friendly!!"

"After a busy day of driving from Hokitika, we decided to split our drive to Kaikoura by staying at this hotel for one evening. Upon check-in the young woman clearly explained the restaurant hours, breakfast plan and how to use the outdoor jacuzzi which we definitely utilized for star-gazing later that evening. Since the hotel is literally in the middle of mountains and valleys and rivers, the views from the hotel/restaurant/villa were fantastic. We spent a few hours star-gazing the Milky Way which is our passion and one of the objectives for staying here for the evening. Given the hotel's location, the restaurant menu was quite limited which is a shame but understood given its remoteness. Lovely stay and would definitely recommend this hotel for those considering....."
