"I stayed at the Royal Singhi this past week whilst attending an international conference hosted at the Yak & Yeti which is a couple minutes walk down some quiet / safe side streets. The hotel was nicer than I had expected, rooms were large and everything worked well. For the price I paid I was very happy with the stay - good wifi and nice breakfast. I had room service one evening which was fast and good value too."
"I asked them to pick me up from the airport but I could not find the guy - I suspect he was there but he assumed I would take ages to come out and as I only ever take hand luggage I normally get through quickly and he was off having a coffee. No issue though I took a cab pre-paid for USD10 which was fine. There is no gym as far as I could work out - not a surprise at this price point and the beds were a little hard but I quite liked them"

"Lovely locally run hotel. 10 min walk from Thamel but with lots of shops and restaurants very close by. Breakfast was lovely! Very good hot showers which were a godsend after trekking."
