"The staff were incredibly warm & welcoming, they offered so much assistance & guidance in such a family like way and went out of their way to make me feel comfortable. The rooms were spotless, the advertised facilities spot on. You really feel like a part of the culture instead of a "western like" seperation vibe that you get from upmarket international hotels. I can definitely recommend here, especially if you are keen to live the culture and not to just watch it. Their attached restaurant has some beautiful meals at insanely cheap prices, which they will happily bring up to your room. They also brought my luggage up & down so I didn't have to worry about it."
"The only time I could get hot water from the shower was in the middle of the day, which in Kathmandu, in the middle of summer is not exactly when I want a hot shower. However it was a minor inconvenience that I happily lived with. The other thing is the stairs, downside is that I was on the 4th floor... upside I got more cardio workout in 4 days than I have ever done in 44 years, but hey, it's good for you."
