Free private parking is available on site. The cottages provide cooking facilities, as well as a private bathroom and seating area with a flat-screen TV. There is also tent accommodation with access to shared bathroom facilities. The area surrounding the property is popular for hiking. The Geirangerfjord is 1.2 km from Vinje Camping. The nearest airport is Årø Airport, 72 km from the property. Bed linen and towels are not included. You can rent bed linen for NOK 95 per person, and towels for NOK 30 per person or bring your own. Please note that from September until May, southwest road access to Geiranger from RV 63 Route may be closed due to the weather. Access is still possible on RV 63 from the north. Please contact the property for more information. When travelling with pets, please note that an extra charge of NOK 250 per pet, per stay applies. Final cleaning can be booked on arrival for NOK 400,- The cabin needs to be cleaned before you leave. Either you can do this yourself, or we can do the cleaning for NOK 400,- If the cleaning is not up to standard there will be and extra fee. Leave the cabing as you found it. You will find cleaning-equipment in the cabin, if you wish to clean the cabin yourself.

"Hytten var enormt hyggelig, velindrettet og pæn og ren. Området er naturskønt og spændende. Vi havde booket én nat på vores road-trip men ville ønske vi havde booket to, det var et skønt sted at koble af!"

"Beliggenheden er fantastisk. Hytten havde smukkeste udsigt over Geiranger fjord. Dejlig roligt. Der var alt, vi skulle bruge i hytten, og vi var kun 2., så der var god plads. Hjælpsomt og venligt personale. Frisk bagerbrød bestilt dagen før kunne hentes i receptionen om morgenen. Dejlig stor terrasse med skøn udsigt. Fantastisk natur."

"The cabins were located in the middle of a valley, which is very picturesque. For a small cabin, it is very well equipped with the basic amenities and also kitchen utilities to be able to cook a meal for the whole cabin. The staff had sent several messages to prealert on the weather conditions and potential road closure so we had plenty time to plan our drive to this location which is very helpful!"
"The roads leading to the cabin is quite a drive and because of the location may close when there is bad weather. So you need to be careful driving on the road and check on the road conditions before starting your drive so that you can plan ahead."
"The staff at the campsite were lovely - very welcoming, friendly and helpful. The cabin was clean, comfortable and spacious. It is in a great location just above the village of Geiranger but close enough to walk to the centre. We were able to self cater for our stay which is what we wanted - there are only 2 hob rings and a small oven but it is enough if you plan right and there was enough cutlery and crockery provided. We needed to do some laundry while we were there and there is a washing machine and dryer available for use - staff very helpful in getting this sorted. We knew when we booked that this was a basic camping cabin but it exceeded our expectations for comfort."
"We paid for the linen pack but it didn’t include towels. Didn’t matter as we had 2 with us - but just as a warning for future guests you need your own towels!"
