"There was little sound insulation. Although we couldn’t hear anything from the apartment next to us, it sounded like the apartment above was hosting a herd of elephants! Henningsvaer has become a very busy tourist destination, far more so than when we visited 18 months ago."

"It's in a block of rooms, so on the second night we had noisy neighbours next to us and upstairs. They were really inconsiderate and perhaps noticeable due to thin walls. Try book a room on the top level. It was only early October and the restaurant was closed (presumably for the season). If you wanted to use the sauna or hot tub, it would cost 1500NOK!!"
