Op 't Oorbeck er en historisk familiegård, som først blev nævnt i plader i 1338. Gården ligger i udkanten af en skov i det landlige Twekkelo, kun 6 km fra Enschedes centrum. Samtlige ferieboliger er indrettede i landlig stil og har gratis WiFi samt billedskøn udsigt over haven. De har i øvrigt fladskærms-tv, originale detaljer såsom fritliggende træbjælker og eget badeværelse med bruser og/eller badekar. Hengelo ligger 4 km derfra, og Twentes universitet kan nås på under 10 minutter i bil. Både motorvej A1 og A35 ligger inden for 11 minutters kørsel fra Op 't Oorbeck.

"Booked it for friends and they liked everything, terrace, bathroom, surroundings, breakfast, etc. They would have liked to stay longer and plan to come back!"

"The location is amazing, lost among the fields, with cows and chickens welcoming you in the morning! The farmhouse is beautifully converted to comfortable rooms, Bart (the owner) is a supper friendly Dutch, and the breakfast is just perfect. Not to mention a good coffee machine around the clock (we are a couple of coffee addicts). One thing to beware is that it IS quite isolated. If you have no car, you need either a bike, or a willingness to walk circa 30 minutes to the bus stop or circa an hour to Enschede. We were attending a conference at the university, and for us the morning and evening walks were an excellent way to relax and gather our thoughts. But if you are not of the walking/biking variety (Bart provides bikes!) and do not come with a car, this place is probably not for you."

"A large, beautiful two-storey village house designed in a certain style. It's nice when the owners prepare breakfast and bring it to you at a convenient time in the morning. For a longer stay, it is difficult to do without a kitchen, but for a few days it is not a problem. There is a free parking space near the house. The surrounding area is beautiful with flowers and pets. It's all very atmospheric."

"Hyggelig opholdsstue. køleskab, el-kedel, kaffemaskine +senseo-kaffemaskine og mikrobølgeoven, samt div servise, som efter brug blev hentet og vasket op. Der var ikke nogen morgen mad. Har man gode ben, er der en rask gåtur til byen, hvorfra der er god offentlig transport til andre byer bl.a. Amsterdam (bus 305 til Amsterdam nord, derfra metro 52 mod syd til hvor du nu skal hen), billetkøb er super nemt, du holder bare dit visa/Dankort på skanderen i bussen eller indgangen til togstationen, ind og ud, ingen app eller særlige kort er påkrævet."
