"We warmly welcomed by Felix the owner. We stayed in the tented accommodation. It was clean and comfortable. Felix cooked us an evening meal. We're not big steak lovers but the steak cooked for us was really good. We had some good conversations. We were there only one night but would stay again if we were in the area."

"The Lodge is the perfect distance from town to be quiet and secluded but also close enough to do shopping or go to the bank without hassle. Felix the owner is very welcoming and treats everyone like family and if you stay at the lodge for dinner the steak is amazing! The other staff are very friendly and helpful. The tents are clean very well equipped and warm and cozy in winter. The beds are spacious and comfortable. If it was summer I definitely would have been in one of the multiple pools or on the dam in a boat! I highly recommend staying here if you are passing through the area."

"I had such a wonderful experience staying here! The place itself was comfortable and clean, but what truly made it exceptional was the owner’s kindness and hospitality. They went above and beyond during my stay—when my car unexpectedly broke down, they didn’t hesitate to step in and help. From offering assistance to making sure I was okay throughout the whole ordeal, their support made a stressful situation so much easier to handle. It’s rare to find such genuine care and service, and I’m incredibly grateful. Highly recommend staying here—you’ll be in good hands!"
