"The only thing I did not like was the taxi service the Hotel personnel recommended. The prices were double what other taxis charged, the driver told us he would have to wait for us charging $150 (pesos) per hour and that we would not likely find another taxi. He was sullen when I declined. Yes, we had to wait about 20 minutes for a return taxi but it was not worth continuing to being ripped off. The Hotel staff indicated that there had been other complaints about the taxi service and they would no longer recommend it."

"The rooms are a good size, and the bed was extremely large and comfortable. However, there’s no air conditioning, fridge, or water dispenser—though a bottle of water is provided on arrival. The floor felt slightly uneven, possibly due to the city’s gradual sinking. The bathroom was fine overall, but the shower was missing a proper door. You have to use the main bathroom door to stop water from flooding the floor. Water pressure and temperature were good. There’s a restaurant attached to the hotel with very reasonable prices. However, we were charged for a small amount of milk and hot water, and the atmosphere changed when we politely declined to leave a tip. The next day, we chose to have breakfast at the hotel across the road, which offered a similar menu at a comparable price. The location is about a 20-minute walk from the city center."

"You hear everything going on in the hall and we even heard from the other rooms. It seems that many hotels are like that so it might be the same other places. The bed was very soft. This is personal preference though and others might like that. We later found out that we should not stay in the centre. It is close to many tourist attractions and nice during daytime, but the centre is not the best place to stay during evening/nighttime."

"A detail which I have drawn the attention to before; in the bathroom it would be super nice if there was a door to the shower cabin so that not the entire bathroom floor is wet after having taken a shower. Beside that; in the room I had (202) a small section of the floor was damaged and should be fixed/repaired. And for the ones who doesn`t speak any Spanish; a little knowledge of English at the front desk would be nice. Nevertheless minor details which would not keep me from coming back"
