Hotel Rancho Encantado

"We took the room with the jacuzzi on the river It was fabulous The only recommendation I have is if possible to request a room that is not so near the restaurant ( they close at 10pm) if u mind to have quite otherwise it doesn’t matter . Beautiful place and location is great quiet and restful we took the boat trip and had a great time it’s right on the lagoon ! The garden is stunning!"

"The location is amazing, close to the lagoon with a lot of spots to access. The facilitations are great with a pool and jacuzzi for all needs. We travel with kids and offers a safe and beautiful place to be with the family and the rooms are amazing."

"All a bit scruffy, needs some real tlc around the place - loo flush kept sticking, the door handle was a bit loose on the bathroom. The staff were not as friendly as at other hotels we stayed at this holiday."

"Lovely location right on the lagoon. The staff were so friendly and were always helpful. Very comfortable and spacious room… we had a twin bed lagoon view room (not much of a view of the lagoon as the hotel is surrounded by trees, but a still a nice balcony to sit out on). Is one of the more reasonably priced hotels on the lagoon."

"There were coach loads of tourists coming for day trips on 2 of the 3 days we stayed which were noisy and disrupted an otherwise relaxing stay. The only day they didn’t come was the Wednesday as that is the day the lagoon is shut. The mass catering area for the day trippers is by the hotel’s pool area and then they all walked through the middle of the hotel when taking their boat trips out to the lagoon."

"Fabulous hotel right on the lake. We had a lakeside suite, which meant a large room with sofa and loungers on the decking by the lake. The room was very clean and comfortable and well protected against mosquitos! Very nice bathroom. Good on-site restaurant, if a bit pricey. Staff are lovely. Decent pool and free kayaking. It's not the cheapest option in the area, but you get what you pay for!"
