"Great central option in Palenque, walkable from the bus station and close to everything in the Centro. Great cheap coffee shop a few doors down, and excellent Taco place opposite. Room functional for a short stay and very quiet. Reception helpful and let us store bags as arrived early."

"It was quite a small dark room, but the air-conditioning was really good - essential in Palenque which, being close to sea level, was much hotter than most of the other places in Mexico in which I stayed - and there was a lovely balcony with seating area where I could sit outside and enjoy a cold beer in the evening and a coffee in the morning. In fact, they provide unlimited free coffee in the lobby which you can then take to your room or to the outdoor seating area. So all in all it represents fantastic value for money. The owner/manager spoke very good English which is something upon which he should be congratulated, as in many of the hotels in which I stayed in Mexico the staff could not speak English. It is in a very good location, with lots of shops, restaurants and cafes nearby and just 5 minutes walk from the minibuses which take tourists to the archaeological site. It is also within walking distance of the main bus station."

"No breakfast, hot water available along with instant coffee and sugar. Typical, mostly very firm mattress. Okay pillows. Friendly front desk guy. Hot water in shower after awhile. My front room was noisy, although I had asked for a non street room. Is this a using bokking.com thing? seems to happen alot. They lent me an umbrella during the deluge. Holy cow can it rain. Reminds me of mid winter Vancouver. Upon map referencing, not surprising, can't be more than 100 kilometres from the Caribbean. Very helpful lady at the tourist office which is just around the corner. Great hamburger stand two streets up."

"See above, for 500 pesos a night, I pretty much got what I paid for. WIFI worked, which I need. Didn't try the TV, it was all in Espanola anyway. The tour company I used, squished us in a small SUV. If you use KICHAN BAJLUM tours ask if they are going to use the van or the guy with the small SUV"

"The room was comfortable and clean. staff were really helpful and accommodating. They held our bags after check out until late at night and they gave us good tips about places to visit in the area. Definitely recommended."
