"The hotel was very close to the house reef, providing easy access to snorkelling and swimming and the bikini beach. The chef prepared a wonderful fish dinner for us one night which was excellent. All the staff were great."

"Prompt communication and good attitude of the owner. Helpful attentive hotel employees who keep the entire place impeccably clean and fresh. Beautiful building design, close to a pretty beach, and quiet location at night. We appreciate that we were given a room with a little bit of an ocean view (even though the window was narrow). Tasty local breakfast served in the pleasant breakfast area, free tea packets and instant coffee throughout the day, free refillable water in the glass bottle (thank you to the owner for this great effort to stop plastic waste), free snorkeling gear. Dedicated roof terrace to dry your clothes and swim items. Several local budget eateries within easy walking distance; and the island is served by inexpensive public ferry (3 times a week from/to Male and within this Atoll when we visited)."

"-- the bed felt too hard for sleeping -- AC was making buzzing noise (with ear plugs no problem) -- bathroom was tiny and shower a bit awkward -- WiFi was frequently cutting off -- hotel's own hammocks in the shade were frequently used by people from other hotels, and were almost never available -- building construction noise next door (except Friday), though it was totally quiet at night -- wake-up calling every morning around 5am for prayer sounded quite loud (very near-by) -- more expensive price compared to other islands (price-value ratio seems off) Island: IT IS NOT THE OWNER'S FAULT, but our visit was negativity affected by the island cartel and obnoxious tour guides. They made an unethical circus out of sting rays and sharks coming to shore - the cartel collects a lot of money from never-ending tour groups (from other resort islands) paying to photograph themselves with the rays. All the rediculous artificial drone footage of tourists laying on the beach surrounded by rays while fish heads and blood were thrown next to them by tour guides to attract the animals is UNACCEPTABLE and UNETHICAL! If we knew in advance about this practice - we would have spent only 1-2 nights here (or skipped this island completely)"

"Really friendly and helpful staff. They met me at the jetty and brought me to the hotel. The hotel is in an ideal location, right next to the bikini beach. There is also an area next to the sea with hammocks and chairs. Dinner was superb - delicious bbq’d fish served on the beach."
