"Good communication with host about key pick up and map of location which was especially useful as it's not quite where the app put it and no access from the main road. It's only a couple of minutes walk from bus stop and big supermarket as well as cafes and the beach. I liked the little terrace with table and chairs that all the second floor rooms have and it's also quiet with no dogs, cockerels or traffic noise in the morning! The kitchen was small but well equipped and I didn't need a restaurant at all. The fridge was a godsend meaning I could stick up on beers from the supermarket and drink on my terrace for quarter the price of the bar!"

"La gentillesse de tout le monde et l’emplacement parfais pour les plages, pour prendre le bus, pour faire des courses, on aurait pu ne pas louer de voiture ou que ponctuellement. On reviendra je l’espère."

"Manque une Rice cooker et une marmitte pour cuire les bons poissons qu’on trouve au bord de la plage juste à côté ( mais on s'est quand même débrouiller avec l'équipement sur place)"

"It was a nice quiet place, i liked sitting on the balcony in the evening. It's a bit further from the village center, so a car is a better option. Good for several days stay in the east. However if you want to explore the whole island, everything is a bit far away.The breakfast was really good, every day a huge can of The owner is very friendly, as is the staff. I liked Villa Victoria very much!"

"We spent a week in a garden view apartment. The apartment is very comfortable, spacious, and the bed is great and we slept well. The location is great, walking distance to the beach, restaurants or groceries. The beach is one of the most beautiful on the island. The garden view is actually an exit to the Earth cafe which is part of the garden. Here you have a private table where you can have breakfast, drink coffee or just relax in the shade. The host is a great guy. He welcomed us, showed us around the place and gave us a brief guide on how to get around. In addition, he gave us tips and recommendations for touring the entire island: sights, beaches and places for concerts and going out. The host is an extremely welcoming and feel good guy you enjoy talking to. If you want breakfast, he will make you a fresh home made meal. To make it short, our stay here was fantastic and if we have the opportunity to visit Mauritius again, I think we would book this place again."

"The property was wonderful. All 4 bedrooms had aircons and their own bathrooms. The kitchen was well equipped and had everything we needed. The pool was lovely and definitely a positive for our kids and us adults. The property is about 1.3km walk to Trou Biche. It is quite a walk with the heat but it is worth it. The owner, Vinay was always a message away and always willing to help. He assisted us with a rental car when our rental car fell through at the airport. A lady came every 2 days to clean the house - she is so great. Really a great property and worth it 🙂"
