Dette romantiske pensionat ligger hjertet af det kongelige kasbah-område i Marrakechs gamle medina. Samtlige ferieboliger er indrettet i marokkansk og samtidig stil, og suiterne har et rummeligt mellemlandingsområde. Der serveres morgenbuffet hver morgen, og gastronomisk spisesteden stille til rådighedr marokkanske retter. Gæsterne kan derudover bestille sandwichs eller salater, mens de glæde sig overr solen og beundrer perspektiven fra terrassen. Der er gratis WiFi ved pejsen i besøgsstuen og i de traditionelle marokkanske overnatningsområder. Der byde pås gratis parkeringsområde på en gade i nærheden, og Marrakesh Menara Lufthavn ligger 10 minutters kørsel derfra.

"We really enjoyed our stay in Riad Shemsi. From before we arrived, they were very communicative and helped to arrange a pickup from the airport. I would recommend this to all travellers unfamiliar with Marrakesh because it meant we were met where the driver dropped us off and shown to the Riad. Upon arrival we were provided with a lovely mint tea and made to feel very welcome. The room was very comfortable and clean and having breakfast every morning was lovely. We took up the offer of having dinner at the Riad on our final night and it was by far the best meal we had in Marrakesh! In terms of the location, it is slightly out of the centre, but it’s still very easy to walk to anywhere in the Medina. We were actually very happy to be in the Kasbah because it felt more calm and quiet than other parts of the Medina!"

"The property is within the walls of the old city and as expected its access is via narrow lanes. The lanes are kept clean. The Riad itself is very well maintained. The staff take good care and guide you with good tips on where to go and what to do. Neighbourhood is quiet and not noisy. Breakfast was really very good with a good mix of Moroccan and continental choices. If I get a chance again, I would definitely stay here again."
