"We had a very lovely stay at Dar Maktoub. The gardens are beautiful and well maintained, creating a calm setting to relax in. The staff were friendly, kind and helpful throughout our stay. Our room was clean, comfortable and well equipped, with authentic Moroccan touches that gave the hotel character. The restaurant was good, with well-prepared food and a varied menu. We enjoyed all the meals we had there. Breakfast is a cold buffet, but they are happy to cook eggs for you. There are also resident dog, cats and even tortoises, which adds a lovely homely feel."

The location is very good—although a bit outside of Agadir, for us it was actually better, because it really allowed us to relax. The pool was amazing, large and clean—we absolutely loved it! Our room was very tidy, and the staff took care of its cleanliness every day. Everyone at the property was also incredibly kind and helpful, which made our stay even more enjoyable.
