Naughty Squirrel Backpackers Hostel ligger midt i Rigas gamle bydel, blot 300 meter fra byens hovedtorv. Dette australskejede vandrerhjem tilbyder gratis trådløs internetadgang og daglige ture til AK Shooting og Winter Bobsled med det lettiske olympiske hold. Udover hyggelige og enkelt indrettede hyggelige rede har gæsterne adgang til skabe med lås, sengelinned og håndklæder, lokale bykort, te/kaffe og bagageopbevaring. Samtlige hyggelige rede og indgangsdøre på Naughty Squirrel har nøglekortlås til den eksklusive adgang, og CCTV sørger for ekstra sikkerhed. Samtlige senge på sovesalene omfatter gratis brug af et opbevaringsskab under sengen til rygsækken. Hotellets døgnåbne bar tilbyder happy hour med rabatter, og gæsterne kan deltage i aktiviteter såsom Beer Pong, madaftener, Trivia-aftener, filmaftener og vældig mere. Vandrerhjemmet har et stort fællesrum, hvor man kan møde andre rejsende og dele sig selv fra vejen. Der er i øvrigt et stort plasma-tv og et stort dvd-bibliotek. "A really fun and social hostel. Events every night, shooting tours every day except Sunday. Even in low season, January, it was really fun and plenty of people staying there."

"Staff was kind and gave good tips to visit the city. It was nice that the room had it's own bathroom and we got an extra blanket when asked. Common aread were clean and the location is just amazing."
"Noises were really loud from the bar downstairs. Also you could hear all the confersations ppl had in the common area of the sleeping floor. They give you earplugs but still annoying."

"Great hostel to meet great people and to enjoy a short stay in Riga. The location was basically perfect since you are in a walking distance from the centre or train / bu station, that would get you wherever you want. The hostel itself was well organized with plenty of activities to do with other people (daily pub crawls, movie nights etc.) They also offer reasonably priced latvian beer. All in all great hostel even for people who seek for the quiet time rather than to meet others."

"One of the most impressive hostels I've stayed in. It was so systematic, and secure. Great central location. Beds were very comfortable and had curtains for privacy. Several bathrooms and maintained to be clean. Good common rooms and availability of tours. It was perfect"

"Everything was awesome! The host was kind and always responded quickly to our questions. The apartment was cozy and clean, so it truly felt like home. The location was also perfect, close to gyms, supermarkets, the university, and the bus station."

"A proper modern european apartment to spend one or few nights. Extremely well equipped and clean. Contactless key collection, washing machine and iron, hair dryer, etc. We even found some tea. Very nice indeed."

"Excellent location. Very well equipped. Nice, large bathroom. And we were greeted with champagne! In addition, the host is very responsive and quick to get in touch. Great place for up to 3 people! There were four of us and we stayed there for over a week, most nights just two or three of us slept there. The couple nights though, when all four of us slept in the accommodation, became very cramped, but the host warned us about it, although a few nights are not a big problem. In any case, I would not recommend to take this apartment longer for a night or two, if you are 4 people, and all of you plan to actually sleep there, and good night sleep is what you are seeking for - otherwise - one of the finest choices to explore Valmiera to the fullest! :)"

"I loved everything about this place, location is perfect, if you're traveling by train or autobus 10-15 mins walk maximum. You don't have to worry about groceries, small mini-mart is 3 mins walk away with everything you may need, If you arrive late and the mini mart is closed,you can always grab something to eat at Circle-K gas station open 24hrs. If your stay is short and you want to explore Valmiera, you may have to come again, because once you enter the apartment, you won't want to go outside. It's so nice and cozy and equipped with everything. On my stay I didn't go outside once. I highly recommend this place."
