"The location is quiet and peaceful. The hosts were very friendly and hospitable - including their puppy Grafs 🐶 We loved the breakfast and the starry night sky."

"Quiet location in the forest. Everything was tidy and clean. The owner is very friendly. We really enjoyed our stay here to rest and chill for a while. There are some beautiful sandstone cliffs nearby if you drive down the road and walk a bit eastward along the beach (note: you need pay a small fee to park on the parking lot of the camping space but in my opinion the cliffs are worth it)."

"Very welcoming and helpful host. Great location. The cottage is very well equipped. The inside sauna perfect, however it is better to use it early in the evening so that the bedroom is not so hot."

"Mezupes is a wonderful place at a wonderful location, very close to the sea. Some of the wooden houses have their own sauna. Inguna is one of nicests hosts we met in our travelling career, we highly recommend staying here."

"Very welcoming host! We arrived quite late and the lady was waiting us anyway and showed everything. We were only one night stay there but I recommend to enjoy it longer. Dog friendly place :) It’s located not so far from the road to Riga but still far enough for feeling relaxing power of nature."

"I enjoyed the location. Everything was so green and as a guest it felt like rural idyll. There was a small grilling station, an aesthetic gazebo where me and my family enjoyed šašļiks and other food. A lot of beds for all my family, spacious kitchen. All necessities available. Overall, great experience. Owners friendly and helpful. I recommend Mežupes as your next spot for a relaxing summer day with family/friends."

"Countryside House close to via Baltica. Arrival after midnight was OK. Friendly host, good breakfast and lovely dog! Good value for your money 👍"

"We stayed at separate wooden house, which was quite new and quite modern furnished, very cosy and comfortable. The house is in a very green surroundings, 10 min from the most beautiful stony beach and Veczemju clintis by car."

"A wonderful stay. The apartment has a gorgeous view of the river and an unbeatable location right in the middle of everything. The old-school decor gives it a lot of charm and one of the best details was a working soviet-era radio. Paired with candlelight in the evening, it gave the place a truly special atmosphere."

"Nice well-equipped apartment. Comfortable beds, good kitchen, lots of space, very reasonable price. Surprisingly good acoustics in case if you want to play guitar and sing. At the same time, solid soundproofing."

"An excellent and friendly host. The place was very beautiful and peaceful, we really enjoyed our stay. Although we were not lucky with the weather, as there was a stormy wind, it didn't stop us from having a barbecue. Inside, it was quiet with good soundproofing from outside noise (we could barely hear the wind) and all the facilities were provided, including a coffee machine and fireplace."

"Spacious property in the peaceful countryside of Latvia. We travelled with a large group, but there was more than enough room for everyone. The pond, hot tub, sauna, spacious kitchen, and multiple dining areas made our stay very comfortable. Our dog loved swimming in the pond and had plenty of space to run around. Heating the sauna and hot tub with firewood took some time, but it was definitely worth it. The ladies managing the property were quick and responsive in communication."
