"Property is located in a Soviet looking building, but the interior is neat and well stocked with cooking utensils, etc. We did the laundry, which was a very helpful thing in a long trip, and the host, despite not speaking any English, was very friendly and helpful and responsive."
"It is a bit far from downtown, and is not as picturesque as the old Tsarist villas in the city, but it is close enough to the beach and excellent value for money."
"Clean and cozy apartment, good location - 5 minutes walk to seacoast. Equipped kitchen, tea, coffee, sugar, and sweets for free. Clean and nice bathroom. Towels, hair dryers, and cosmetics are available. Balcony with chairs and table, it was nice to drink coffee in the morning. Wi-fi connection is very good. Level of 4 stars hotel. Very helpfull owner. Recommended."

"Very cute camping. Quiet neighborhood. There is a kids' playground pretty much next to the place, so with kids definitely a plus."
"A proper modern european apartment to spend one or few nights. Extremely well equipped and clean. Contactless key collection, washing machine and iron, hair dryer, etc. We even found some tea. Very nice indeed."

"Excellent location. Very well equipped. Nice, large bathroom. And we were greeted with champagne! In addition, the host is very responsive and quick to get in touch. Great place for up to 3 people! There were four of us and we stayed there for over a week, most nights just two or three of us slept there. The couple nights though, when all four of us slept in the accommodation, became very cramped, but the host warned us about it, although a few nights are not a big problem. In any case, I would not recommend to take this apartment longer for a night or two, if you are 4 people, and all of you plan to actually sleep there, and good night sleep is what you are seeking for - otherwise - one of the finest choices to explore Valmiera to the fullest! :)"
