Gungas ligger i Ādaži, i fyrreskoven og på Dūņezers-søen og har privat strandområde. Ferieboligerne ligger i bjælkebygninger. Nogle af værelserne har billedskøn udsigt over søen og eget badeværelse samt køkken eller tekøkken. På Gungas er der et badehus med badehus-service, grillfaciliteter og en terrasse. Der er desuden fælles opholdsstue. Man kan dyrke en række aktiviteter på stedet eller i omgivelserne, herunder fiskeri eller volleyball. Denne feriepark ligger 32 km fra Riga Lufthavn og 800 meter fra Riga-Tallinn-motorvejen. Der tilbydes gratis parkeringsområde på selve ejendommen.

"Le lieu est tellement relaxant... Au milieu des arbres, dans la nature. On nous a proposé de faire un tour de barque sur le lac au coucher du soleil, c'était magnifique. La plage, située à quelques kilomètres est elle aussi très belle, sauvage. Nous n'y avons passé qu'une seule nuit, nous aurions aimé rester plus longtemps. Petit bémol auquel l'établissement ne peut rien, il y a une base de l'OTAN de l'autre côté du lac, il est parfois possible d'entendre les tirs au loin le matin."

"Mūsu rezervētā māja bija ''Kadiķi'', kas bija ļoti piemērota naktsmītne mūsu 10 cilvēku grupai. Katrā numuriņā ir sava vannasistaba. Lai gan bijām karstā vasaras dienā, mājā bija patīkami vēss. Ļoti klusa apkārtne, tuvu ezers, ārā pie mājas ir galds un grils, kā arī terase, par papildus samaksu izīrējām arī laivas. Ļoti viesmīlīga saimniece!"

"Everything was awesome! The host was kind and always responded quickly to our questions. The apartment was cozy and clean, so it truly felt like home. The location was also perfect, close to gyms, supermarkets, the university, and the bus station."

"A proper modern european apartment to spend one or few nights. Extremely well equipped and clean. Contactless key collection, washing machine and iron, hair dryer, etc. We even found some tea. Very nice indeed."

"Excellent location. Very well equipped. Nice, large bathroom. And we were greeted with champagne! In addition, the host is very responsive and quick to get in touch. Great place for up to 3 people! There were four of us and we stayed there for over a week, most nights just two or three of us slept there. The couple nights though, when all four of us slept in the accommodation, became very cramped, but the host warned us about it, although a few nights are not a big problem. In any case, I would not recommend to take this apartment longer for a night or two, if you are 4 people, and all of you plan to actually sleep there, and good night sleep is what you are seeking for - otherwise - one of the finest choices to explore Valmiera to the fullest! :)"

"I loved everything about this place, location is perfect, if you're traveling by train or autobus 10-15 mins walk maximum. You don't have to worry about groceries, small mini-mart is 3 mins walk away with everything you may need, If you arrive late and the mini mart is closed,you can always grab something to eat at Circle-K gas station open 24hrs. If your stay is short and you want to explore Valmiera, you may have to come again, because once you enter the apartment, you won't want to go outside. It's so nice and cozy and equipped with everything. On my stay I didn't go outside once. I highly recommend this place."
