"Check-in absurd langsomt. Det samme med elevatorerne, alt for lang ventetid. Lækker rooftop bar, men alt for høje priser for jordens tarveligste kunstige mangojuice - at vi var der på en helligdag, hvor de ikke måtte servere alkohol, gjorde ikke tingene bedre. Hotellets ligger ikke i et charmerende område (Colombo er i det hele taget ikke charmerende), men man er hurtigt omkring med tuk-tuk. På grund af helligdagen var mange restauranter i området lukket, men det er jo ikke hotellets skyld."

"There are only 3 lifts for a very large hotel operating across 26 floors. It wasn’t that busy when we’re there so the waiting times for the lifts were slightly long but manageable but I can imagine it’s really slow when busy."

"We had such a good, memorable time here. Taken very well care of by Manju (the owner), we enjoyed a very comfortable stay in the wild, off the beaten track, with beautiful nature all around us. The food was delicious and filling, vegetarian and vegan diets catered for completely. They lit us a fire one night and we enjoyed dinners by candlelight every night. The beds were super comfy and the large hut that we stayed in was very spacious - good for all bags and clothes. Manju organised our safari day and our trip to a local beach. He was ready to meet our every need and was very kind and friendly with our children too."

Our half day (evening) Safari guided by Nikki was great and we noted that most other vehicles in block A didn’t have a guide and hence struggled to spot wildlife. Some food was very good - especially the curries at lunch. We loved the set up for the dinner by the bonfire. Rooms were cleaned thoroughly."
