Green View Resort

"We had a small chalet on the edge of the lake with breathtaking views, especially at sunset. There are only six chalets well spaced out, so this feels like a very exclusive and private resort. The rooms are clean, spacious and the bed large and comfortable. The staff were exceptionally kind and helpful, especially Mr Sphanxai the resort manager, nothing was too much trouble. Breakfast was included and was perfect for our needs. Dinner is extra but great value and very tasty! Free kayaks were a real bonus!"

"Only because Booking.com asks the ‘negative’ question, but better tasting coffee at breakfast would be good and also a couple of chairs in the rooms / balcony would help……but this is a wonderful place to stay!"

"This place exceeded all expectations. It is absolutely BEAUTIFUL. From the moment you arrive you feel completely at peace - the lake, the sounds, the view from the rooms, the food, the owners… all of it absolutely exceptional. We stayed three nights and already can’t wait to return. The value for money is incredible too. We paid less for 3 nights and meals at the restaurant (3 times a day) than we do for one night without food in most places we travel. Kayaks are free and you can take them out at anytime and there’s a lovely boat trip you can do with bbq prepared onboard. It is run by a lovely little family who can’t do enough to help you out. I wish them every success as they continue to share this beautiful place with others. We are so grateful we were able to experience it. BOOK THIS PLACE!"

"A wonderful stay in this stunning beautiful setting! The spacious and tastefully furnished bungalows seem to float above the water. From the bed, you can look out over the tranquil Nam Ngom Reservoir. Everything here breathes peace and quiet. The manager, Mr. Sphanxai, is extremly helpful and assists with any questions. Despite our late arrival, he helped us organize a taxi to the accommodation, etc. Thanks for a great stay 🙏"

"A very nicely put together collection of individual bungalows on a reservoir, with free use of kayaks and an opportunity to go out on boat trips if wanted. The staff are wonderful - we really enjoyed a 2 night stay here."

"Amazing views, beautiful rooms and a clean swimming pool! This place is really peaceful and the views here are much better than the more expensive place around the corner (which we tried the following night as Green View were full). If you’re looking for some peace and quite next to a beautiful swimming lake then this is the place! Staff are very friendly and helpful."

"Absolutely stunning location on the lake with sunset views. Comfortable and modern room and big terrace! We loved watching the water buffalo on the nearby islands. You can use the kayaks for free. The staff were great too."

"What a fantastic oasis of serenity. Immaculately clean bungalow right on water front, friendly helpful staff and service, nice food restaurant. Only 6 bungalows so feels like you have the lake to tourself Loved everything so much extended our stay It is remote... But that's the beauty of it ... Bring supplies if you like lots of snacks etc . Rooms have fridges. Free kayaks lovely clean pool"
