"Not hostel’s fault - but there was a group of around 20 kids staying at the hostel and they were very loud and running around all the time, which was very annoying (not used to have kids staying at a hostel)."
"Location is very good, nearby restaurants, 2 gyms, supermarkets and a delicious cake shop. Rooms are very ample, and mine had a window. Good temperature control, most of times in hostels this is impossible to adjust. Common are is large, equipped kitchen a working area. Toilets have sink inside and showers are clean and big. This is in the top 5% of best hostels I have ever stayed."

"This is a perfect and good value hotel.It s not a hostel as there are no dormitories.But it has a good well equipped kitchen. The stuff is friendly and helpful.It s very clean.I recommend booking a room with windows as I did.Also there are many bathrooms and separate many toilets all very clean.You don't have to wait for the toilet!"

"I had a wonderful stay at sulu Hostel ! The location is excellent, very close to the main landmarks of Astana, which made it easy to explore the city. The hostel was clean, comfortable, and exactly as described.I even added a second night there. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone visiting Astana."

"Probably the two things I’d improve are: 1: the bed was a bit uncomfortable, you could feel the springs a bit. They could do with replacing but not massively uncomfortable. 2: AC would not be a bad idea. I heard others in a room without a window got quite hot overnight. There were a few broken door mechanisms etc as well in the shared toilets, so this could be fixed."

"The hotel is run by a lovely family. They spoke English and it helped me a lot. The room was clean and comfortable. I had the New York room. The reflective ceiling was fascinating. Mansur took me on a historical tour of the city. I could visit places that are inaccessible by public transport. I'm really thankful to him. I also learnt a lot about the various cultures in Kazakhstan through them."
