"The place has so much character. Very well designed, an old historic hanok with modern conveniences. Very comfortable. Beautiful bed sheets, comfortable bed and even provided us with free bread and juice. Great communication from owner. You are perfectly located to see the central sites."

"The owner carefully arranged the house for our arrival and left us some tasty snacks for breakfast. Everything was clean, and the functioning of the devices was well explained so we could stay in comfortably. Also, the location couldn't be better to hit all of the touristic spots. Booking ElHouse is expensive, but you won't probably find another whole hanok as modernised and pretty as this one."

"We would have preferred more garbage bags left at the house. If there were actually more, at least we couldn't find them. As they were, the bins felt small and not enough for a two-night stay."

"Hanok "El House" is the best accommodation we have experienced in Korea. Everything is perfect: comfort, calm, design and decoration, clearly a luxury hanok. In addition, while being quiet in a small alley, it is very close to places of interest, restaurants. The landlady is very caring."

"L’exiguïté globale du logement, l’absence de volets ou doubles-rideaux, la « cohabitation «  de la douche et des toilettes. De plus le PDJ compris s’est limité à un litre de jus d’orange, un sachet de pains briochés industriels, 6 capsules de café et un peu de beurre. Tout ça pour deux personnes et plus de 200 euros la nuit. Il faut ajouter à cela toutes les instructions données uniquement en coréen ! Je ne recommande pas du tout cet appartement aux touristes occidentaux."

"Infos zum checkin (Code für Türen) wurde einige Tage vor der Anreise über booking com und auf Koreanisch (!) verschickt. Wir hatten Glück, dass wir etwas früh am Haus waren und den Code gesehen haben, den die Putzfrau (?) eingegeben hat. Anderenfalls wären wir vor verschlossenen Türen gestanden. (Nach der Beschreibung sind wir davon ausgegangen, dass man einen Teil eines größeren Hauses bewohnt, kein Haus für sich alleine) Es gab einen Stadtplan 👍und eine Karte zu Bus- Stadttouren, letztere nur auf Koreanisch Bad ist sehr klein, wenig Abstellfĺäche Schrank ist nicht vorhanden (aber es gibt genug Ablageflächen für Koffer) Für 2 Tage und 2 Personen waren die Frühstücksvorräte (4 Kaffeekapseln) sehr knapp kalkuliert v.a. nachdem die Cafés vor Ort spät öffnen -> Informationen zu Frühstücksoptionen wäre gut gewesen alternativ: Nachfüllen der Vorräte!! (das sollte bei dem Preis inklusive sein)"
