Visit Balykchy

"Fantastisk sødt værtspar, der hentede os ved togstationen, bød os på eftermiddagste med mange af husets specialiteter og vi fik en skøn kirgisisk madoplevelse. De har en stor frugthave, som vi blev inviteret til at plukke lige så tosset af, som vi ønskede, og det var også marmelader, tørrede frugter og nødder, der var på bordet. Parret kørte os til den nærliggende canyon og fulgte med os rundt. Værtinden taler perfekt engelsk (er engelsklærer) og vi fik mange gode snakke om politik, kultur og dagligdag. Den sidste aften kom vi på en fiskerestaurant, hvor de tilberedte de foreller, vi valgte ud."

"The hosts were súper cute and friendly. My son and I were suffering from water poisoning and they were very accomodating. We could eat fresh fruit from their garden."

"A welcoming and comfortable guest house. Shared with a lovely family. We were warmly welcomed and learnt a lot about Kygrystan culture and Balykchy. A lovely breakfast, the apricots divine. Community very nice, greeted us as we walked around in the cool of the evening. The location is great, close to local beach. Would have liked to stay longer."
