"Lovely owner (who speaks excellent English), he is always happy to help with advice on how to get to various places. Comfortable capsules with sockets, locker and reading light inside. Felt very private. There is a good culture of guests being quiet and respectful (the ‘no alcohol’ policy is very welcome). Basic kitchen (hob, microwave, fridges)- everything very clean. Excellent value for such a low price. Definitely exceeded my expectations."

"It’s a bit out of the centre (15 min walk), but this is reflected in the price. You can easily order a taxi to the centre for approximately £1 using the Yandex Taxi app or get a minibus. Shower room is for both men and women, and you have to take your clothes into the shower because there are sinks with mirrors directly opposite the shower doors. But I guess this is a problem in all small hostels. There is a small bathhouse with steam room (banya) also owned by the hostel owner just 2 mins walk away which is a good option for a proper wash and to have a local experience at the same time."

From Jyrgalan, I went to Turnaluu Kol lake using MAPS ME - From Aktilek bazaar bus station to Jeti Oguz: bus No 372. 371.355. And then take a shared taxi to Jeti Oguz Kypopt. - From Aktilek bazaar bus station to Animal market: bus No 101 For more detailed information, ask other travelers or minibus drivers or the owner of Nomadstan."

"The owner was very friendly and helpful and he gave me a lot of information about everything. The common area and the kitchen were especially good. I met some nice travelers and had a good time together whlie I was staying here. It was such a nice place that I plan to stay here again before long. I got on the minibus from Bishkek Western Bus Station (500 som) at 7:00 am and arrived at Karakol bus station at 12:36 pm. It took less than 6 hours. It was about an hour's walk from Karakol bus station to the hostel. Near the hostel, there is a big store Globus where you can buy anything. Just next to Globus, there is minibus No 101 stop. I can go to Aktilek Bazaar Bus Station and the ticket office to Ala Kul lake by the bus."
