"The location is excellent and the staff are lovely. Large room, very clean, excellent hot water and the pressure is good. The little kitchen area is really a fridge and kettle but the staff happily gave me a plate and utensils to make breakfast!"

"It didn’t seem like management had invested enough to maintain the rooms compared to the restaurants. There weren’t toiletries as listed, the same handwash was put into the shower gel. I came back one night and there were small black bugs coming out of the bidet. The white towels had some stains and the painted concrete has yellow tints in the bathroom. So despite the incredible staff, it wasn’t comfortable"

"The place was spacious and clean and nicely furnished and decorated. The natural lighting in the room and bathroom was great. The AC was working perfectly which is important in the scorching heat of Diani's summer! The staff, Gedida, Salim from housekeeping and Hamadi the askari were all very helpful, allowing us to drop off our bags before checking in and assisting us with our luggage even after we've checked out. We weren't able to operate the safe, so the manager was very quick to come and assist."

"The room is located above the restaurant. So in the evening when the kitchen is fully operational downstairs, the smell of cooking and frying enters the room.... Making it uncomfortable to sleep and impossible to keep the windows open for fresh air. Also, the toiletries in the bathroom were very limited... Only shower gel and had soap. A microwave in the kitchenette would've been a nice option."

"The staff were very friendly but did not know the details of my booking on arrival. It would have been nice if the'house rules' were explained' i.e. breakfast, housekeeping arrangements. I had to duplicate information I already entered into bookings.com which was a little annoying. It would be a better feeling if payment was made at the end of the stay rather than on arrival. Room service would have made the experience better so the room could have a tab that could have been paid at the end that way we would have actually spent more money. Communication could have been better regarding breakfast as we woke up before 11am expecting breakfast only to find out that we have to have prearranged it. The breakfast was a little expensive considering Koko's was next door offering a great breakfast at a great price. The shower head was not the best as very little water came out, the toilet seat also kept coming off. With these changes made I would recommend the place."
