"They got everything you’ll possibly need and more. To start, the location was amazing. It is situated right in front of the inland sea which means the shoreline was very tranquil and makes healing sound.(not too loud) Facing east so that you can actually see the sun rise from the room waking up. The bath tub also was facing the east so when taking the bath you could watch the waterline too. All the amenities were organic and smelled good. The wall which the house owner explained they were made of traditional Japanese paper and I’m pretty sure they were immersed with charcoal so that it looked chic and had a gentle smell of calmness. The entire facility we can see was created and taken well care of with thoughtfulness. Our experience there became so relaxing and memorable one thanks to the everyone involved with the facility!"

"This is a beautiful modern home that appears to be fairly new. The beds are very comfortable. The views are outstanding. We rented a car and had no problems finding the owners office and checking in. The kitchen is very adequate but cooking is limited to an electric counter top burner, toaster oven or microwave. We cooked in both nights and did a very good single pan stir fry and enjoyed the views. Much better choice than a hotel for us anyway."

"Il me semble qu’il n’existe pas de qualificatif assez fort pour décrire la beauté de ce logement : exceptionnel , stupéfiant , magique , grandiose oui et plus encore .Le lieu est magique celui là même peint par sessun jadis … vous êtes face au tombolo et la conception de la maison vous permet d’avoir une vue à 180 degrés !!!! Mais plus encore , Torch est une maison comme je n’en ai que rarement vu où chaque détail a été savamment pensé : le luxe tel que je l’aime épuré et contemporain . Je ne reviendrai probablement jamais à amanahoshidate mais je me souviendrai longtemps de ce logement . Précisions : votre hôte adorable au demeurant est architecte ( cela explique tout !) les clés sont à récupérer à son bureau juste devant le logement . Il existe une jolie promenade passant juste devant la maison à faire absolument . Veiller à réserver un restaurant ."

"Exquisite location on the water with great views and well designed to optimize the views. Loved the washi paper on the walls, the bed was extra comfortable and the rooms were sizable. The bathroom was nice with a deep tub facing the water."

"Wish the windows were one way visibility for more privacy. The sofa could have been more comfortable for a lounging experience and there could be a few more larger bowls provided for a self catering location. Also, some forks and knives would be a plus."
