"The Hobbit village is a convenient place to stay for hikers. We enjoyed a comfortable stay and took the Wadi Ghuweir guided trail. The hike was one of the most wonderful experiences of our time in Jordan and we can't recommend it enough. We went in November, delaying our hike for a day to make sure the rainwater had cleared and it was safe. Our guide, Ahmad, was really knowledgeable and friendly, showing us how to pass the tricky sections and preparing a delicious lunch for us on an open fire. We can't think of a more wonderful way to have seen such a beautiful country."

"Beautiful place in the mountains, very cozy and nice. Its perfect for people who like nature. There are very sweet dogs and a donkey. The rooms are comfortable and cozy. Everything was clean. The owner is extremely nice and helpful and he was also our tourguide for the Grhuweir hike. We had breakfast and dinner twice at the accommodation, which was very tasty, cheap and a lot! Would stay here again, and would recommend this place to anyone!"

"The location is close to the petra tourism center. Clean and friendly staffs. Very quiet with lots of rules to keep it(not speaking in the room and 6am-11pm bath time, etc.)"

"We were welcomed like royalty! The hosts are so incredibly kind, offered us tea and water throughout our stay, and anytime we had a request they were more than accommodating. They helped us with planning our trip into Petra, gave us insider tips, and the breakfast and dinner were delicious! I highly recommend staying here. It is so cool being able to stay in the bedouin village and being so close to petra. The view was also magnificent- We could see Petra from the window! As for the room itself, everything is brand new and works well, absolutely zero complaints!"

"The accommodation is quite basic but clean and suffices all your needs. We had a very big room with 3 beds and a shared bathroom which was quite small. We were given prepackaged breakfast bags since we left very early in the morning. We also negotiated a price for dinner, which was excellent. There was ample space to park."

"Great location – only about a 7-minute walk to the main entrance of Petra. The room was clean and well maintained, and the owner was incredibly helpful. He is a certified guide, so he helped me choose the best routes, shared interesting information about Petra, and showed me how to avoid unnecessary expenses (I saved quite a lot!). He also prepared food for my day trip and served a warm dinner when I came back. A perfect place to stay if you’re visiting Petra – highly recommended!"
