"En helt fantastisk morgenmad, ingenting manglede, alle ønsker blev opfyldt! Smilende og glade Mama i køkkenet, Papa yderst serviceminded og sønnen Salvatore var tolk og var behjælpelig med planlægning af dagens tur, busforbindelser etc. En lille intim morgenmadsterrasse med en skøn udsigt over vandet. Virkelig WOW!!! Hele familien er så søde og imødekommende <3. Aldrig oplevet nogen som modtog os med så meget varme... Rengøringen er i top og sengene var gode! Det er meget nemt at tage bussen derfra til Amalfi by og evtl. videre til Ravello, kan helt klar anbefales. Selveste busturen er en oplevelse i sig selv ;-)! Og endelig forkæle jer selv med en privat sejltur langs kysten (her kan Salvatore være behjælpelig)."

"Stedet ligger desværre direkte ved en ret trafikeret vej og idet alle værelser (bortset fra det ene værelse af familieværelset) vender mod vejen, skal man nok forvente meget støj. Man kan godt nyde et glas vin på altanen med udsigt til vandet, men ledsaget af busser der dytter, knallerter i høj fart... Ørepropper eller lukket vindue/dør for en god nat søvn ;-) Og så vil jeg selv mene, man vænner sig nok til det efter et par dage...."

"Beautiful cosy and homely villa with gorgeous garden. The room with a balcony and sea view was lovely. Breakfast was delicious. Host Salvatore and his mother Carmela were kind, helpful and made my stay comfortable. The bus stop is just 2 mins by walk. I will definitely recommend this place."

"We had a wonderfully relaxing time at Il Pavone. It is so comfortable and Salvatore and his family made us feel at home. Our room was lovely with a sunny balcony & the most amazing views. The breakfasts were wonderful. The terraced garden had spectacular views, it really is a very peaceful haven perched above the Tyrrhenian Sea. A very pretty beach close by and good restaurants within walking distance."

"The breakfast which was included was delicious and served in a lovely room with the most beautiful views of the coast. Salvatore and his family were so courteous, warm and welcoming and helpful. It made the stay very special. Everyday fresh pastries and fruit as well as eggs. the fresh orange juice was the best I've ever had. After breakfast we were set for day of exploring. Compared to many places on the busy Amalfi coast , this was excellent value."

"The coast is very hilly. That is what makes it beautiful but be prepared to walk up steps and steps to find your favourite view or dining spot. Getting a seat on the local buses can be challenging as they are filled up with locals. Taxis are very expensive. But it's part of the experience!"
