"It was tidy and quiet. All necessary equipment was there. Even coffee and tea. Great place and we felt like home there 🙂"

"Water in the outside bathtub wss a bit too hot for us (approx 50 degrees Celsius) and we didn’t manage to cool it down."

"We liked the space it had. It's very remote but we wanted that, to have a good chance of seeing the aurora. The bedrooms were all a good size and beds were comfortable. The kitchen was brilliantly stocked."

"Only one shower and a small kettle, for 7 people. The remote venue is perfect, but was also very far to get to places. It suited us but I would imagine some people would feel isolated."

"Très spacieux et bien agencé. Parfait pour une grande famille ou plusieurs couples d’amis. Avec en plus le bain chaud naturel extérieur qui n’était pas précisé sur le descriptif."

"Mieux expliquer comment baisser un peu la température du bain extérieur qui est naturellement à 50 degrés !"

"Það var mjög gott að vera svona út af fyrir okkur en ekki alveg ofan í næsta sumarbústað eins og er á mörgum öðrum stöðum. Húsið var mjög hlýlegt og heimilislegt, og skemmtilegt að hafa gamaldags yfirbragð með eldri húsgögnum."

"Sehr geräumig, innen und außen. Waschmaschine, Trockner, Ofen und Geschirrspüler! Ein WC pro Stockwerk. Sehr schöne ruhige Lage, trotzdem in 26 Minuten beim nächsten Supermarkt. Sehr freundlicher Kontakt."

"This was by far our favorite stay throughout the whole trip. Very cute guesthouse and cat with a heart shape nose. The view is also nice, make sure to get there before dark to enjoy. Great price for the value!"

"We spent two nights in the guesthouse. The rooms and common areas were very clean and spacious and contained all the necessary equipments for a comfortable stay. The kitchen in particular had everything needed to cook. The location is beautiful, you can walk from the house into the nearby mountains and have a nice view over the valley. The guesthouse is also part of a horse farm, where you can book a horse ride/farm stay (we booked this tour via the website Islandshestar). We greatly recommend this tour as it was a wonderful experience. We were warmly accompanied and guided through all activities. Thank you !"

"Our group of 4 really enjoyed the location - very quiet, off the beaten track with superlative views of Hekla, a river winding along the back of the property and Icelandic horses to pet. In addition very conveniently placed as an entry point into the Highlands. This is what appealed to me enough to book in the first place. Property was clean, well equipped and we used the hot tub which was perfect after a long day."
