"I was looking for a hotel to catch the Northern Lights. Words can't describe the impact it made on me to see this beauty literally from our room window every night. The hotel is ideally located and easy to find, with parking nearby. The room was large, clean, and cozy. I especially loved the heated floors in the bathroom. The breakfasts were good, not overly varied, but you won't go hungry. It's wonderful that coffee, tea, fruits, and sweets are available 24/7. The staff was amazing, and I'm incredibly grateful for their help organizing my husband's birthday. The cake was kept in the refrigerator until the day of the event, and we were provided with plates, cutlery, champagne glasses, and an ice bucket. Everything was done with such kindness, for which I want to express my gratitude again!"

"The hotel is located in the middle of nowhere, but easy to reach with car (about 1 hour from Keflavik airport / Reykjavík). The closest village is 5 minutes, where you can find restaurants, bakeries, shops, all in all a good base for going on a golden circle tour or to watch aurora borealis. It is a very cosy place, all the common areas are great, the hot tub and sauna is excellent. Rooms are not the most modern, but perfectly fine, comfortable, and most importantly: warm. Heating is very good, which is so great after a freezing day spent outside. Breakfast is nice, good variety of foods, and they even provide some snacks and free coffe/tea/juices through the whole day! Staff is also very kind and helpful."
