"Nestled at the southern tip of the Reykjanes peninsula, Grindavik is kind of in the middle of nowhere - although it's also very close to the Blue Lagoon. That was why we chose the Geo Hotel for our stay. We found it a really lovely place, modest from the outside but cosy and friendly with welcoming and super-helpful staff."

"Fantastic stay in Grindavík! The vibe is super cosy and the staff are brilliant. It’s perfectly equipped for any season. Great breakfast, and the toiletries were so good I actually hunted them down at the airport!"

"We only stayed one night. After visiting the Blue Lagoon, I wanted to see a bit of Grindavík. The hotel is clean and our room was a good size. The water smells of sulfur. It's nothing dramatic, but bring water to drink! Everything was fine and check-in and check-out were super smooth."
