"Our room was upgraded, so we were delighted! We were welcomed in our native language. The bedroom and bathroom were both very spacious. Sleek and modern design. Comfortable bed. Huge windows, great view. Quiet. Complimentary coffee at the reception any time of the day (in addition to the classic tea and coffee station in the room). Parking out front was very convenient. The bar was nice, and there's a happy hour."

"Very good position (not just for the quayside but for the walks outside the town boundary up the hill and in the very attractive park) Rooms very spacious and reasonably priced for Iceland, with a good breakfast again well priced. Restaurant is also good and helpful to have, as although there are a few good restaurants in this lovely small town, I would emphasise the word few."

"We enjoyed the breakfast and choices but felt the huge tables in the dinning room/ conference room were suitable for large groups and meetings. Not for individuals or couples. It would have much nicer and more intimate if tables were made available in the smaller dinning room too for those that wanted it."

"As we had booked the restaurant and it was close, reception had made a reservation at a local restaurant which was great, also due to this we got a free upgrade in room. Also had a great view of Husavik harbour."

"The location of the hotel is amazing and comes really handy when you go whale watching in rain and then just want to return fast to the room to take a shower :). Rooms are clean, staff is extremely nice, breakfast was amazing."
